Stop, Drop and Turn!

Awwww, loooook. Wouldn't ya know it. She already loves her daddy more than me (I knew this would happen). Of course she complied with BigB's demands and turned head down and even dropped. I have a feeling that this will be a common theme for the next 18 years. Ignore mommy and get daddy wrapped around her little finger by doing whatever he says.

So, no c-section for now. Just wait, wait, and then wait some more. Um, patience is NOT one of my virtues.

Not only did FancyOB tell me that LadyBug was turned and headed south for the border, but that I had gained NINE pounds in water weight. Isn't that crazy? How does that happen? I know my fingers are swollen and it hurts to hold a pen, and that my face resembles Veronica Salt, but nine pounds? It's also been hotter than Satan's armpit in Seattle this week (to us Seattleites 85-90 degrees is HOT), so maybe that has something to do with it.

You Washington Whiners! That is what I will start calling you guys. :-P Today my aunt, Dad and Mum have all complained to me how hot it is in WA. Since you've been to the East, you know that Seattle is a much better place for 90F than Maryland or New York! It is so muggy here, and you're right - yuck!

Thank you for your comments on my baby girl - she gets her eyes from her Daddy.
And, your parents live in Marysville! What a small world it is! My parents own a fitness club up there, just off of States Ave. by the Smokey Point Naval Complex. They've owned it since 2006, opened up Jan. 1, 2007. That's how my husband and I met. I was looking for members, and even though he had free access on base, he said he'd join if I went on a date with him. So we started dating just after we opened.

They are slowly putting the Gold's up there out of business. It's fun to have, I love it! We have tanning booths so I get free tans, free workouts with my friends (but I can tell you now, I don't workout much anymore. Need to though), free products, etc. And I have a key so I can go workout at midnight if I want to.

I know that I am just now joining you on your journey, but I am excited for you! Especially cheering for no cesarean! They suck.

Enjoy the hell out of the first 3 or 4 months because they go by so fast. It was my favorite time but I barely enjoyed it since she was sick; it was hospital stays/visits, doctors, case managers....ugh.

We will be enjoying your nice weather on the 9th. I haven't been home since Christmas when there was three feet of snow, so it will be nice to enjoy Summer sun without humidity!

Sorry for the duplicate comment. Posting from my BlackBerry is always unpredictable.

I also wanted to say that I love photography too. I want to do it professionally but don't know how to get started. I have taken years of film photography courses, but never for my SLR.
Any ideas?

What is it with the freakin' heat anyhow. Hello??? It's June??? Summer doesn't even begin around here until August. I mean on this morning's weather map it show 80's here but 70's in Oregon and California. Huh?

Now if you are still managing to walk around south lake union right now I'm impressed especially with all the water gain. It is insane what a bad combination pregnancy, heat and water make. I still shudder remembering my cankles.

I am so glad Ladybug listens to somebody!! Sorry for the water weight, wow, that's over a gallon of water. Balsmamic vingarette is the L&D's nurse secret weapon to help start labor, eat it on a salad, that's all, nothing complicated. Best Always!
